Both came from the Death-Metal-Band Asmodina, which waged war in the underground about 7 years and released 2 demos and 2 CD’s. In 1998 Asmodina were finally crushed, due to a bad label story. Only the strong will survive...MISTRESS were born with this spirit! Raw, powerful riffing, piercing melody-lines and the malicious voice of Angela melt together to become a merciless driving Death-Metal-Inferno. From 1999 to 2001 MISTRESS played a lot of live-gigs which such bands like Vader, Atrocity, Krabathor, Funebris and many underground-bands. In September 2001 Angela left the band to join Arch Enemy. Angela (v) Mike (g) Pete (g) (plus tard Christof (g)) Aki (d) Dave (b) Aki (drums) and Dave (bass) formed Asmodina in 1990. In 1991 their former singer Westi left the band and Angela joined. The line-up was: Angela (v), Mike (g),Pete(g) (later Christof (g)), Aki (d) and Dave (b). Discography: Tape “Hidden Fear” (Nov 1991) Tape “The Story Of The True Human Personality” (Feb 1994) 3-Track Promo-CD “Children Of Tomorrow” (Feb 1996) CD “Inferno” (Jan 1997) Asmodina went through several line-up changes, for a very short time they had a 2nd male vocalist (clean vocals), named Tobias. In 1998 Asmodina split up. The former members Aki, Dave and Westi founded a new band called “Transgression”.
